IPhone Doesn’t Top The List
The iPhone might make the most headlines, but it isn’t the only competitor out there in the world of trendy high-tech gadgets that have businesspeople and teenagers alike scrambling for. Even while Apple announced a stellar launch of its newest edition, the 3G iPhone, which sold over a million units in a three-day span, Nokia takes the cake with control of 45% of the smart-phone market according to the latest released data.
After them trail Research in Motion Ltd – Blackberry’s maker – with 13.4%, and Apple Inc. which finishes in obvious third with a 5.3% claim.
In an effort to keep its dominant status, Nokia is releasing two new smart phones: N85 and N79 which both feature an entire array of applications and uses. They’ll cost 350 and 450 euro respectively.
