And On To Plan B
As everybody knows now, the bailout didn’t go through. In response, the Dow plunged 400 points in 10 minutes, and then continued its painful spiral downward to settle some 700+ points below its open.
It’s painful just thinking about it, much less reading about it.
But, I think that shooting down the bill was probably for the best. Make them go back to the drawing board, like they’ve already sworn to. My thought is that eventually they’ll pass something, most likely against tax payer wishes. But perhaps the longer it gets stalled, the more they’ll rework it into something that actually fits with a capitalistic society instead of some twisted form of socialism.
Because let’s face it, from what we know about the bailout, that’s exactly what it resembles. Let’s hope that Plan B is a bit more appealing.
