Down-and-In Option

Definition: Can only be exercised when the price of the underlying asset sinks to a specified barrier price level, is a type of knock-in option.  If the underlying asset reaches the specified price level this option turns into a vanilla European option (call or put), if it does not reach the price level it would expire worthless.
